DESCRIPTION
Important note: During the months of June, July and August aquatic activities with sea lions are restricted, in case of doing the tour during these months, we move to a reef with lots of life to snorkel for 1 hour.
Located in the Sea of Cortez, there is a beautiful archipelago named Espiritu Santo, surrounded by blue waters and pristine beaches of soft and white sand. The catamaran that we are sailing in this cruise is a 33’, proudly built in Mexico and specially designed to navigate the Sea of Cortez waters. It’s built with the highest standards of quality and security without sacrificing any comfort and is accessible for wheelchairs.

Venture starts in Marina Fonatur, from there passing in front of La Paz city downtown will reach the south of the archipelago, crossing it until we get to Los Islotes, one of the biggest sea lion colonies in the Sea of Cortez. Here you will be able to experience swimming with them! They are very sociable animals and like to show off with acrobatics and chasing each other, if you are lucky there’s also a chance to interact with them.
Later, we will continue with our tour to one of the majestic bays on the island, where its beauty will captivate you.
Once the catamaran is anchored, the crew will set up for you to relax, enjoy, explore, take great pictures, and of course a delicious lunch. Also, time to swim or just relax on the white sand and turquoise waters.
The archipelago of Espiritu Santo is home to many species from the region: +32 types of reptiles, +98 species of birds and most of them are available to watch year-round. Also, there are remains of the Pericu tribe that lived in the region until the end of the XVIII century.
If you start your venture in Los Cabos, we have transportation available, where we will make a brief stop in an iconic and famous local restaurant with typical Baja Sur food, have breakfast and then continue to the Marina Asipona.
