Explore the Wild Beauty of Socorro – The Ultimate Liveaboard Dive Adventure

Our Socorro diving season runs from November through May, offering an unforgettable nine-day, eight-night adventure with seven full days of world-class diving in the legendary Revillagigedo Archipelago.

Why Dive Socorro? Located 250 miles off Baja Mexico’s southern coast, the Socorro Islands—San Benedicto, Socorro, and Roca Partida—are a haven for marine life. These remote volcanic islands attract some of the ocean’s most spectacular pelagic species, creating a diving experience unlike any other.

    Dive Sites and Marine Life

    • San Benedicto Island is home to The Boiler and The Canyon, both famous for interactions with giant Pacific manta rays. The Boiler, a submerged sea mount, is known as one of the best places in the world to dive with mantas, while The Canyon offers encounters with hammerhead sharks, Galapagos sharks, tiger sharks, and large schools of fish.
    • Socorro Island features sites like Cabo Pearce, a hotspot for bottlenose dolphins, hammerhead sharks, manta rays, and silky sharks. Humpback whales are often seen from mid-December to mid-April, and their haunting songs can sometimes be heard underwater.
    • Roca Partida, a remote pinnacle in the open ocean, is teeming with life. This site attracts massive schools of jacks, tuna, wahoo, barracuda, and clouds of reef fish, as well as white tip sharks, oceanic white tip sharks, whale sharks, and false killer whales. Large pelagic species frequently patrol this area, making every dive a unique experience.

May is a particularly exciting month, with an increased chance of seeing giant bait balls and predatory action, as well as whale sharks and pods of false orcas.

    The Ultimate Liveaboard Experience

Since Socorro can only be explored by liveaboard, divers must embark on a 20-24 hour journey across the open ocean. The underwater landscape consists of volcanic formations, boulders, and towering walls, with minimal coral due to the cooler water temperatures.

Our experienced crew aboard the Adventure is dedicated to providing a safe and unforgettable trip, ensuring that every dive is an extraordinary experience.

    Important Park Regulations

    • Gloves, knives, and flashlights are prohibited (lights attached to cameras are allowed).
    • Night diving is not permitted.

Join us for an incredible expedition to one of the most thrilling dive destinations in the world.
